| | Details about me: | Love is like an onion. It has many layers, makes you cry, but adds a lot of flavor to your life. Right now, I must be peeling the onion.
You will have to forgive me. I'm very new at this as you can tell. I'm pretty sure I should not have started my profile talking about something that makes your breath stink! But what can I say? I've just gotten a divorce and I'm living alone for the first time in about 25 years.
I guess I'm supposed to tell you more about myself. Ok. I will not try to impress you by telling you that I'm Don Juan reincarnated - despite what others may say. However, I can tell you what most people say about me (at least when I'm in earshot.) They will tell you that I'm intelligent, witty, loving, loyal, thougtful (most of the time), absent minded, but definitely good hearted. I grew up in Kansas City (go KU!), so I definitely have midwestern values. I'm family oriented, which is certainly ironic given my current living circumstances.
I do love walks on the beach - but I also like to get in the water! I also love the mountains.
I am a hopeless romantic - well certainly hopeless. I love eating out, going to movies, or just talking. I'm not a heavy drinker, but will enjoy an occassional beer or drink. I love outdoor activities, but indoor ones as well (some VERY well :). To me, its not what you do, but who you do it with.
Professionally, I'm a consultant. I know, "those who can't do, teach... and those who haven't got a clue, consult." But at least I consult on something fun. No, not that. I'm a golf course consultant. I help golf courses become more profitable. Yes, I do play golf, but I'm definitely not a pro! I also like to bowl - so how's that for variety.
I don't watch a lot of TV, but when I do its usually a sitcom, movie, news or a sporting event that I'm interested in. I love college hoops, but mostly the schools I root for (KU, UNC, UF). I also love football (Chiefs) and baseball (Royals - which shows you that I do go for lost causes). I am an avid reader. I also hate to admit it, as it will confirm my nerdiness, but I also do Soduko. I love animals, including both cats and dogs.
What am I looking for? I wish I could tell you. But I'm pretty sure I'll know it when I find it. I can tell you that I care more about how a women THINKS than how she looks. I prefer women that have a sense of humor and can carry on an intelligent discussion. I prefer people with "depth".
